This year and my project for Fresh Eyes has been shaped by so many generous people, and it feels important to acknowledge them all.

My gratitude goes to Redcliffe Art Gallery, curator Hannah Williamson, and the entire Gallery team for inviting me to participate in the bi-annual Fresh Eyes exhibition and giving me the opportunity to exhibit alongside artists Emily Mcguire, Rachel Bywaters, and Zartisha Davis. I am grateful too, that the Fresh Eyes professional development program, allowed me to meet and learn from incredible artists and art workers, including fellow exhibiting artists including Joe Furlonger, Dr Judy Watson, Kyle Weise, Dr Kellie O'Dempsey, Dr Louise Mayhew and Olivia Everitt. It’s a privilege to be part of a community so strongly supported by its council and regional galleries.
Special thanks to Guthrie for the many conversations and Bronwyn Hawkins for the loan of a camera and for an unforgettable 4WD adventure to Somerset Lookout! The friendly and professional support from Loupe Imaging made the printing process much less daunting. As always, Cheryl from Insight Creative remained a steady guide, and the art history insights by Bree Di Mattina were extremely helpful.
Each of these contributions played a meaningful part in this bumper of a year, and they are deeply appreciated.
