Amanda is a maker, working with paper, found images, and more recently her own photographic images. She spends most of her days working in her shed studio surrounded by the quiet of rural Dayboro.

Her process is a call-and-response to the materials she finds, relying on the simplicity of collage to express complex ideas through a minimal, materially constrained visual language. She is interested in the ongoing exploration of how media, images, and ideas intersect.

Through reading, writing and independent learning, Amanda seeks to better understand herself and the world around her. Her work is shaped by her lived experience and a commitment to mindful, environmentally sustainable making.
