artLAB is a space designed to bring together a group of local artists from the region to have deep discussions about art and art-making. Hosted and organised by Amanda Gardner since 2023, session topics and exercises are developed by Amanda with input from the group, for the purpose of enhancing peer-led conversations. In artLAB we write and talk about creative processes, share our knowledge, cultivate slow looking, engage in peer critique, and much more. It's an ongoing network between artists, one that continues to support and shape how we each think about our own practice.
