Fresh Eyes 2025, Redcliffe Art Gallery

This is first in the series made for Fresh Eyes 2025.

The commission brief from the Gallery asked to reimagine the rapidly changing landscape of the Moreton Bay Region, reflecting on the changes in landscape and community.

The collages I have made for this exhibition are a continuation of my exploration of the idea of 'the gaze,' examining how the act of looking, shapes our personal and cultural perspectives, obscuring the effects of time and change on the environment in which we live.

I have spent the better part of the year, photographing my local landscape, testing and printing papers, experimenting with both analogue and digital collage.

What a great learning experience and an absolute privilege! I do hope the work will be both thought provoking and engaging for Gallery visitors.

Opening event: Sat 29 Nov, 2-4pm | Redcliffe Art Gallery | 2 - 4pm | Sat 22 Nov 2025 - Sat 7 Mar 2026
