Hello again!

Time has run away from me this month so this is a quick note to let you know the happenings in my part of the world. May was a really busy month visiting galleries, hosting World Collage Day and preparing for some upcoming exhibitions. But mainly, I’m head down, bum up in the shed studio. My favourite place to be!

Lots happening this month too, maybe I will see you on the Trails or at a workshop or exhibition. I’m always keen for catch up!

As you know, art adjacent work, especially social media, can be time consuming and frustrating. So I'm trying to figure out how to streamline my approach.

I’ve tweaked the my old blog and turned it into kind of feed. It's nice to share random thoughts without the pressure of feeding the instagram beast.

On Saturday 14th June @ 4pm I’m facilitating an Art Lab session during the Moreton Bay Art Prize exhibition. I would love for you to join me. It’s free!

There’s a little bit of info on my website and a link to book in. I’ve already booked in for Louis Lim’s workshop on how to document your art.

Speaking of the Moreton Bay Art Prize, the exhibition is at the Pine Rivers Art Gallery until the 19th July. I am so looking forward to seeing all the artwork from artists in this region, include those of a number of friends. I’ll be going to the Awards night to celebrate with them! Bookings for the awards night is through the website.

Don’t miss @creativesamford Arts Trail & Open Studios, officially opens Saturday 31 May and runs through until Sunday 22 June.

This year in Dayboro, a great bunch of artists are participating. The Pavillion Artists at the Dayboro Showgrounds, Running Duck Studio, The Churn Room, the Dayboro Art Gallery and the Treasure Tribe. Not to mention all the other art studios in Samford and surrounds.

Here's to carving out peaceful moments, fun discoveries and making space in the days to come.
